Description

Roco 7720015 H0 Plan V multiple unit, NS, Ep. IV, AC sound

The Roco 7720015 H0 Plan V multiple unit is a detailed replica of the famous Dutch Plan V electric multiple unit, also known as the Mat '64 or "Apekop" (monkey head). With 246 units built, it was one of the defining commuter trains of the Dutch State Railways(NS) from the mid-1960s. The model reflects the condition of Era IV and impresses with its high-quality workmanship and state-of-the-art technology.

The Plan V was initially delivered in a green color scheme with sand-yellow stripes. From the third construction series in 1968, it was painted in yellow, which was also extended to the older series between 1969 and 1973. The multiple units were used on almost all electrified lines in the Netherlands until they were withdrawn from service.

Roco has equipped this multiple unit with numerous features that ensure a realistic driving experience on any H0 model railway layout. From the PluX22 digital technology to the filigree pantographs, this model sets new standards for model railroaders.

Conclusion

The Roco 7720015 H0 Plan V multiple unit is a must for collectors and model railroaders who are looking for a high-quality and authentic model of Dutch railroad history. With its precise realization and technical functions, this model is an enrichment for every H0 layout.
