The 408 series, known as the ICE 3neo, is the latest generation of Deutsche Bahn's high-speed trains. Developed on the Velaro platform from Siemens, these trains are designed for cross-border traffic in Europe. With a top speed of 320 km/h and optimized technical features, these multiple units have been in service on routes to Belgium and the Netherlands since 2024.
The supplementary set includes four characteristic intermediate cars: a 1st class transformer car, a 2nd class middle car, a 2nd class converter car and a 2nd class transformer car. These cars are essential to represent the ICE 3neo in its full length and functionality.
