Description

This “smart resistor,” barely larger than a standard resistor, always supplies your LEDs with the correct current.

The electronics in the KSQ1 limit the current to a maximum of 30 mA, regardless of the supply voltage. Your LED will always glow at a constant brightness within a voltage range of 4 V to 24 V DC.

Depending on the LED type and input voltage, up to 11 LEDs can be connected in series. A parallel connection is also possible; in this case, the current is distributed among the LEDs.

The KSQ1 is installed like a series resistor; two generously sized connection pads are provided on the left and right for this purpose.
