Schuco 450784500 Kirovets K-700 A with Doppelbereifung (1:32) Product Details

Description

The Schuco EDITION 1:32 vehicle models are made of die-cast zinc and impress with their detailed model design and numerous moving parts and functions. Most of the model vehicles are agricultural models.

The heavy Kirovets K-700 all-wheel drive tractor occupies a special position at every tractor meeting and, of course, in every tractor model collection due to its dimensions alone. Developed by the Russian manufacturer Kirovets at the end of the 1950s, the first prototype of the K-700 left the factory gates in Leningrad in July 1962. Between 1962 and 1975, well over 100,000 units of the K-700 were produced. Equipped with an 8-cylinder diesel engine and 215 hp, the articulated lorry was also exported in significant numbers to the former GDR from 1968. Known for its extreme reliability and very efficient, especially on large agricultural areas, the use of a K-700 increased work productivity threefold compared to the advanced ZT 300. In order to be able to use a Kirovets K-700 economically in the state-controlled agriculture of the GDR, however, it was necessary to combine individual fields into large areas.
