The Tillig 01079 freight car set consists of two detailed Falls type self-unloading cars painted in the colors of the private railroad company Viamont a.s. from Era VI. These wagons were specially designed for the transportation of bulk goods such as coal, ore or ballast and are an indispensable part of modern freight trains.
The two wagons impress with their fine paintwork in a grey color scheme and the accurate printing with the original Viamont a.s. markings. The reproduction of the struts, chutes and flaps ensures a realistic appearance that fits perfectly into modern freight train compositions.
The self-unloading wagons are designed for 2-conductor direct current (DC) operation and have a NEM coupler pocket with close coupling kinematics so that they can be easily combined with other TT freight wagons. With a length over buffers of 218 mm, they fit perfectly into modern train formations.
These Falls wagons are used in the original by private railroad companies such as Viamont a.s. for bulk freight transport. On the model railroad, they can be ideally combined with modern diesel locomotives or electric traction units to recreate realistic scenarios.
