With the Tillig 01132 TT Passenger Car Set “DB Regio” – Part 2 – you can complete your Era VI double-decker reversible train. The two-piece set consists of a 1st/2nd-class double-decker car DABpza 785.2 and another 2nd-class double-decker car DBpza 780.4 – both in the current Deutsche Bahn AG design. A perfect addition to your 1:120 scale regional trains!

Based on current DB AG commuter service

The double-deck cars included in this set are typical of today’s regional service operated by DB Regio. They run on heavily trafficked commuter routes and main lines, often in combination with a control car and matching electric locomotives such as the BR 146 or BR 147. The combination of 1st/2nd-class and all-2nd-class cars is common practice in local and long-distance commuter service.

Both cars feature an exact replica of the double-decker design, finely engraved details, and an authentic DB Regio color scheme with UIC-compliant lettering. The interiors are fully reproduced, and both cars are prepared for retrofitting with interior lighting (Tillig 08922). The minimum curve radius of 310 mm allows for use even on more compact layout designs.

Scale and Technical Details

The set is designed for TT scale (1:120) and runs on a 12 mm gauge. The total length over the buffers is 450 mm. Thanks to the NEM coupler mount and close-coupling mechanism, the cars can be combined with other sets in a safe and prototypical manner—especially with the 01131 control car set and the matching 04350 locomotive.
