The Tillig 01214 TT Premium Beginner Set "City Express" of the German State Railroad takes you right back to Era IV - with a powerful BR 132 diesel locomotive and a stylish city express car train as it rolled through the GDR at that time. An ideal combination of prototype fidelity, technology and equipment for beginners and fans of East German railroad history.

Fully equipped for the start of digital operation

The set contains everything you need to get started: a model track oval, an already digitized class 132 diesel locomotive and three perfectly coordinated Y/B 70 passenger coaches - 1st class, 2nd class and a WR dining car. There is also the modern DAISY II hand controller, the digital control center and a practical rerailer.

The locomotive has a light change depending on the direction of travel (3-light headlights at the front / 2-light headlights at the rear), can be retrofitted with sound, is prepared for the installation of an electric coupler, and is equipped with a digital interface in accordance with NEM 662. All cars are equipped with interior fittings and prepared for retrofitting interior lighting:

• 08856 - End of train lighting
