Would you like to enrich your TT layout with a piece of railroad history from the early days of German rail traffic? The Tillig 04209 TT steam locomotive T18 of the Royal Württemberg State Railways (KWStB) brings the technology and style of Era I to your model tracks authentically and true to detail - a must for fans of historical railroad eras.
In its day, the T18 steam locomotive was a powerful all-rounder for passenger and freight transport - now as a highly detailed model on a scale of 1:120 for TT gauge (12 mm). The locomotive has a prototypical 2-light headlight signal that changes depending on the direction of travel and thus creates a realistic operating picture. With its length over buffers of 124 mm, it also fits perfectly into smaller layout segments.
Equipped with a coupler pocket and close coupler kinematics, the T18 can be easily integrated into existing train formations. Two traction tires provide sufficient traction during operation. The minimum passable radius is 310 mm - ideal for typical track geometries of historical layouts.
The locomotive has a digital interface in accordance with NEM 662 and is therefore ideally prepared for digital operation. Retrofitting with sound is also possible, as is the installation of an electric coupling - perfect conditions for modern operation on a historical basis.
Whether as a train locomotive in front of authentic Era I coaches, in a small station scenario or in museum use - with the KWStB T18 you can make an atmospheric statement for the beginnings of the railroad era.
