With the Tillig 18139 Res-X low side wagon, you can bring authentic freight traffic of the 1970s and 1980s to your TT layout. The model of the Polish railroad company PKP comes from Era IV and impresses with its simple and prototypical appearance. Ideal for use in block trains or as a flexible single car in mixed freight traffic.
The wagon is painted in an authentic shade of brown and has fine engravings and typical details of the Res-X design. The simple yet functional design makes it the ideal all-rounder for your freight trains. Thanks to its true-to-scale length and finely detailed design, the wagon fits harmoniously into international trains of Era IV.
The wagon has a coupler pocket in accordance with the NEM standard and close coupling kinematics. This means that it can be easily combined with other TT freight wagons - for tight radii as well as for true-to-scale train formations. The robust design ensures reliable running characteristics in the everyday operation of your model railroad.
The PKP used Res-X low side wagons for transporting bulky or weather-resistant goods such as wood, steel girders or machinery. These wagons were used throughout Europe and are a typical component of international freight traffic in Era IV - often also seen in trains of the Deutsche Bundesbahn or other state railroads.
The Res-X car is fully compatible with Tillig TT track systems and can be perfectly combined with other PKP or international freight cars. It can also be used in block trains with flat cars or sliding wall cars - ideal for layouts with a focus on realistic freight operation.
A versatile freight car for model railroaders who want to recreate realistic Eastern Bloc or CEE freight trains of the 1970s and 80s. Collectors of historic rolling stock and company railroaders benefit from the high model quality, flexible usability and authentic design.
With the Tillig 18139 Res-X low side car, you can expand your freight car fleet with a detailed model from the international freight traffic of Era IV - now available in the model railroad store!
