Modern railroad feeling in international regional traffic: With the Tillig 70066 H0 set of 3 double-decker coaches including SBB control car, you get a detailed model of a typical Swiss push-pull train on your layout. In Era V (approx. 1990-2006), modern color concepts, new vehicle types and international cooperation dominated - this is exactly what this elegant set reflects.
The carriages are presented in the classic SBB livery with fine lettering and intricate engraving. The highlight of the set is the control car with functional light change lighting (3-light headlights at the front, 2-light tail light at the rear), depending on the direction of travel. All of the cars are equipped with detailed interior fittings and can be retrofitted with interior lighting for especially atmospheric night runs.
Thanks to NEM coupler pockets with close coupler kinematics and a minimum passable radius of 360 mm, the set is ideal for realistic operation even on compact layouts. The digital interface in the control car (NEM 652) allows individual expansion with decoder functions.
This model is perfect for scenarios involving border traffic or international long-distance services. It brings authentic Swiss flair to German or European routes and ideally complements modern SBB or DB locomotives.
In Era V, cross-border rail connections were intensified and SBB increasingly used modern double-decker trains for regional and long-distance services. These vehicles combined high capacity with comfort and became an integral part of everyday modern rail travel - both in commuter traffic and on express train lines.
The set is fully compatible with common H0 track systems and can be perfectly combined with SBB electric locomotives such as the Re 460. Thanks to the digital interface in the control car, train operation can also be conveniently implemented on digital systems.
A highlight for modern H0 layout builders, SBB fans and collectors of international vehicles. Also ideal as an eye-catcher for showcases or exhibition layouts - especially in combination with digitally controllable locomotives.
Get a modern classic on your model railroad layout with the Tillig 70066 H0 set of 3 double-decker cars with SBB control cars. Now available in the model railroad store - get this international train set with technical sophistication!
