The Tillig 77019 acid tank car is a finely detailed model that is based on the historical prototype of Era II. Used by the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG), this car embodies the industrial strength and transportation logistics of the 1930s. The paintwork and lettering on the wagon correspond exactly to the original "Unterharzer Berg- und Hüttenwerke GmbH" models - an authentic piece of railroad history for your model railway layout.
The wagon is manufactured on a scale of H0 (1:87) and impresses with its high level of detail. With a length over buffers of 102 mm and a track gauge of 16.5 mm, the model fits seamlessly into existing train formations of this era. It is ideally suited for historically correct freight trains and impressively shows the chemical freight traffic of past times.
Although historically designed, the wagon complies with current technical standards. It is equipped with an NEM coupler pocket and close coupler kinematics, which makes it easy to integrate into existing train formations. The total weight of 140 g including packaging ensures safe running even on longer routes.
The acid tank wagon is ideal for use on Era II layouts - whether in factory traffic, at transfer stations or as part of a freight train. The authentic design and the striking acid tank superstructure make it a visual highlight that clearly stands out from other freight wagons.
The Tillig 77019 is an excellent choice for model railroaders who place particular value on historical accuracy. The model combines a classic look with functional features - a must for all those who want to bring pre-war railroad history to life in their layouts.
