With the Tillig 77020 lime bucket car, model railroaders get a detailed depiction of a specialized freight car from Era II. The model represents a car of the Bayrische Stickstoff-Werke AG, used by the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG), and thus brings an authentic piece of the industrial past to your H0 layout.
This characteristic lime bucket car was used to transport lime or other chemical raw materials such as those needed to produce nitrogen compounds. The Tillig model has a typical color scheme and shows the company address of Bayrische Stickstoff-Werke AG - a real eye-catcher with a historical reference.
The wagon corresponds exactly to the H0 nominal size with a scale of 1:87 and a track gauge of 16.5 mm. The length over buffers is 102 mm and therefore allows flexible integration into various train sets - whether in shunting operations or as part of a historic industrial train.
Equipped with a coupler pocket and close coupler kinematics, the lime bucket wagon is designed for reliable operation on all standard H0 layouts. The robust production and the weight of 70 g (including packaging) ensure stable running characteristics even in daily use.
The Tillig 77020 is an excellent choice for model railroaders who focus on Era II - especially the early chemical industry and special transportation. The car can be ideally combined with other industrial vehicles or matching DRG locomotives.
