Description

The IBW of the TT model track was revised. This revision was based on the look and technology of the three-way turnout, i.e. the frogs are now made of metal. In addition to a significant visual improvement, this has another advantage: The frogs can be supplied with power, which ensures optimum current collection, especially for short locomotives and slow speed. As with the three-way switch, the frogs are initially de-energized and can be polarized accordingly with the aid of the motorized underfloor drive or, if the overhead drives are used, with a relay. Furthermore, the new IBW receives new, improved switch blades.

This turnout is the successor of item 83362 inside curve turnout left 15°/30°.
