Trix 22406 H0 Class 1200 Electric Locomotive, NS, DC Sound - Dutch Classic in Era IV

With the Trix 22406 locomotive, Trix is bringing an elegant and powerful electric locomotive of the Dutch class 1200 to the H0 layout. The locomotive in a gray-yellow paint scheme with the road number 1210 represents the condition as of 1972 and was used for decades in Dutch express and freight train service. A must for all fans of international railroad connections in Era IV.

Powerful drive and reliable technology

A centrally installed high-performance drive with flywheel drives four axles via cardan shaft. Traction tires provide excellent traction even with heavy trains. The locomotive is equipped with a digital decoder that is mfx, DCC and RailCom compatible and offers extensive sound and operating functions for realistic digital operation.

Lighting based on the Dutch model

The three-light headlights and the two red marker lights change over with the direction of travel and can be switched digitally. The locomotive is also equipped with prototypical yellow and white headlights. An additional shunting light can be activated separately. All light functions are realized with warm white, yellow and red LEDs.

Fine details and high-quality workmanship

Separately attached metal grab rails and finely detailed printing give the model a high-quality appearance. The enclosed brake lines can be fitted to the buffer beam for visual refinement. An integrated buffer storage unit ensures uninterrupted operation over short sections of track without power. With a length over buffers of 20.8 cm, the locomotive fits ideally into international train formations of the 1970s.
