With the Trix 23623 express train car set, you can bring the splendor of German long-distance service in the 1950s to your H0 layout. The set recreates a section of the D 74 Hamburg Altona - Basel SBB express train, especially for the Frankfurt - Basel route. It contains three elaborately designed carriages from the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) and the Deutsche Schlafwagen- und Speisewagen-Gesellschaft (DSG) in operating condition around 1955 - a perfect match for the class 01.10 steam locomotive with new boiler.
Included are an ABC4üwe apron car (1st/2nd/3rd class), a DSG WR4ü(e) dining car and a C4ü seating car (3rd class), each as four-axle models. All of the cars are built to the exact length scale and are equipped with new close coupler heads for a prototypical buffer height. The included short bellows allow for realistic representation of the end of the train.
All carriages have warm white LED interior lighting fitted as standard and an integrated buffer capacitor that ensures flicker-free light - even during brief interruptions in the power supply. The high-quality interior lighting creates an authentic atmosphere in the train set.
Each wagon has printed wagon number plates and serial numbers. An enclosed fanfold depicts the entire D 74 train graphically and shows the correct sequence and position of the cars - ideal for historically accurate train formations. The minimum passable radius is 360 mm. The total length over buffers of the set is approx. 77 cm.
