This set depicts the classic heavy passenger cars of American railroads and serves as a particularly impressive complement to the matching US steam locomotive “Challenger” (item number 25913).

All cars feature standard-equipped LED interior lighting with warm-white LEDs and a buffer capacitor. This creates atmospheric interior lighting even in longer train formations.

Digital Lighting Functions and Current-Carrying Couplers

The combined baggage and passenger car features a RailCom-compatible DCC/mfx digital decoder for controlling various lighting functions, as well as a collector for power supply to the entire train set.

The cars are equipped with current-carrying close-coupling heads between the individual cars. The specified car sequence ensures reliable operation of the lighting functions.
