Are you looking for a classic tank car for your H0 layout that authentically complements the historical mineral oil transport of the Deutsche Bundesbahn? The Trix 24173 tank car depicts a car from BOLTE & Co. KG in Hanover, registered with the Deutsche Bundesbahn, and is ideal for freight trains, tank farms, and industrial sidings from Era III.
The prototype is a tank car with two wheel sets and a riveted tank. The version with a brakeman’s platform but without a brakeman’s cab corresponds to the operating condition of 1957 and brings a characteristic private tank car prototype to the model railroad.
The model features a detailed undercarriage with an open-frame design. The finely reproduced technical details, such as the handbrake crank, braking system, and discharge pipes, ensure a particularly realistic appearance.
