The Trix 24178 tank car depicts a car belonging to Benzin und Petroleum Aktiengesellschaft Hamburg (BP), registered with the Deutsche Bundesbahn, and is ideal for freight trains, tank farms, and industrial sidings in Era III.
The prototype is a tank car with two wheel sets and a riveted tank. The version with a brakeman’s platform and brakeman’s cab corresponds to the operational condition of 1957 and brings a characteristic vehicle from classic freight transport to the model railroad.
