The Trix 24431 Low-Side Flat Car Set brings two modern four-axle Res-x flat cars from Deutsche Bahn AG to your H0 layout. Painted in a reddish-brown color scheme and without stanchions, the cars are presented in their 2018 operational condition—suitable for Era VI freight trains. Both models are equipped with an authentic “rails” cargo insert and feature a multitude of finely rendered details.
The cars are built to the European standard design with a length of 19.90 m. The bogies correspond to the Y25 type and are depicted true to the prototype. The underbody is specifically shaped and complements the high-quality design, both visually and technically.
Both cars come factory-equipped with a cargo insert consisting of simulated rails—ideal for realistic scenarios in railway construction or steel freight transport. The accurate representation without stanchions creates an authentic, modern appearance for the cars. The cars are individually packaged and shipped in additional outer packaging.
With a total length over the buffers of approximately 46 cm, the set is ideal for modern freight train formations. Whether as part of a pure flatcar transport or combined with tank cars, container cars, or ballast cars—the Res-x cars look great anywhere.
