The Trix 25128 class E10.3 electric locomotive brings a special piece of German railroad history to your H0 layout. The model shows the E10 384 in a unique paint scheme from 1967 - with a steel blue locomotive body and a striking light gray painted frame. This livery variant was part of the first DB color experiments for better recognizability and the development of a uniform appearance.
The model is a typical E10.3 with an aerodynamic "crease" front. Equipped with a continuous fan belt, all-round rain gutter, buffer cladding and aprons as well as front handlebars, it perfectly reflects the design language of the late 1960s. A highlight is the exact implementation of the paintwork with steel blue body and light gray chassis, as it was only tested on a few machines - most strikingly on the E10 384 shown here.
The locomotive is equipped with an mfx-capable digital decoder and offers numerous sound functions. The light changes between red and white depending on the direction of travel and is based on modern LED technology. Interior lighting is also integrated. All light functions can be switched digitally. The KK kinematics in the NEM coupling shaft ensure reliable, close train formation.
With its operating condition around 1967, the many intricate add-on parts and the unusual paint scheme, the Trix 25128 is not only an operational model, but also a piece of DB color history. Ideal for collectors and fans of Era III as well as for model railroaders who want to add authentic, historical unique pieces to their trains.
The Trix 25128 electric locomotive E10 384 is now available in the model railroad store - get this unusual model with a rare color scheme and excellent digital technology for your H0 layout.
