The Trix 25163 locomotive brings the French locomotive charm of the 1980s directly to your model railroad layout. The highly detailed H0 model shows the French State Railways (SNCF) electric locomotive BB 22200 in operating condition around 1985 with the road number BB 22307. This locomotive has a stone gray paint scheme and is equipped with many technical and visual highlights, making it a must for anyone who wants to authentically represent the international train service of Era IV.

The locomotive is a completely new construction in a highly detailed metal design and offers numerous separately applied details, including windshield wipers, fan grilles, grab rails and elaborately designed roof lines. The roof superstructures are true to the original and equipped with newly designed pantographs, which have different collector strips to match the prototype - a real detail highlight for fans of France.

A centrally installed, controlled high-performance drive with flywheel works inside. All four axles are driven by cardan shafts, which guarantees even power transmission and smooth running characteristics. Traction tires also ensure optimum traction. Thanks to the integrated buffer storage, the power supply is kept stable even during short interruptions.

The locomotive is equipped with a digital decoder that is mfx, DCC and RailCom compatible. Numerous operating and sound functions ensure a realistic driving experience. The three-light headlights that depend on the direction of travel and two red marker lights can be switched conventionally or digitally. The model also has a double A-light function and separately digitally switchable headlights on both sides of the locomotive.

The driver's cab lighting can also be switched digitally and, in combination with the maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs, ensures atmospheric operating conditions - even at night. The light pattern is clearly defined and looks realistic on the layout.

The locomotive is 20.3 cm long over the buffers. The buffer height is implemented in accordance with the NEM standard, as are the kinematic close couplers. The scope of delivery includes brake lines, screw couplings and various sockets as separately attachable accessories that make the model even more customizable.
