Trix 25350 H0 Ae 3/5 Electric Locomotive, SBB, DC Sound - Swiss classic in a current museum version

The Trix 25350 locomotive is a highly detailed, completely redesigned version of the legendary Swiss electric locomotive Ae 3/5. The locomotive with the road number 10217 is shown in the museum operating condition of 2022 - in a fir green paint scheme with gray running gear, a false running signal and transition plates on the ends. It embodies a piece of Swiss railroad history that is actively maintained and exhibited again today.

Finest metal design with prototypical technology

The locomotive has a heavy metal design and features numerous separately applied details such as roof lines, insulators, scissor pantographs and grab irons. The driver's cab and engine room are also reproduced. A controlled high-performance drive with a flywheel drives one axle; traction tires provide additional tractive force. The minimum radius is 360 mm.

Wide range of lighting functions - all digitally switchable

The model has three headlights with Swiss light change (white/red) depending on the direction of travel as well as a switchable wrong way signal above the upper headlight. A single red marker light can be activated for solo operation. Headlights can be switched separately on each side, including double A light function. The cab, driver's desk and engine room lighting as well as the flashing on the switchgear can also be controlled separately digitally.

Digital control and safe operating characteristics

A modern digital decoder controls all light and sound functions. The LED lighting with warm white and red LEDs provides harmonious illumination. An integrated buffer memory bridges short power outages for uninterrupted operation. Included brake hoses and imitation screw couplings round off the high-quality equipment.
