The Trix 25435 H0 Class S 3/6 "Hochaxige" Steam Locomotive, K.Bay.Sts.B., Era I, DC MFX Sound is an impressive model for model railroaders who are looking for a classic express train steam locomotive with a strong prototype history and extensive digital equipment. The prototype belongs to the Bavarian class S 3/6 and stands for a locomotive type that fascinated early on with its elegant appearance and technical charisma.
In the spring of 1907, Maffei received the order to build a Pacific compound locomotive for the Royal Bavarian State Railways. Maffei developed the Bavarian S 3/6 on the basis of the Baden "IV f", which was built by the same company. Its appearance was particularly characterized by the four-cylinder compound engine, which contributed significantly to the timelessly elegant character of this locomotive.
The prototype of the Trix 25435 is an express train steam locomotive of the Bavarian class S 3/6 with a 2'2 T32.5 coal tender. The locomotive belongs to the Royal Bavarian State Railroad, abbreviated K.Bay.Sts.B.. The substructure series d is depicted, which is described as a high-axle locomotive with a driving wheel diameter of 2,000 mm.

There is a close-coupling kinematic system with a showcase position between the locomotive and tender. There is a kinematics-guided close coupler with NEM shaft on the tender. The buffer height at the front corresponds to NEM.
The model comes with filigree smokebox door steps, a hook coupler, an air hose for the rear of the tender and piston rod protection tubes. The length over buffers is 26.7 cm.
