Description

Prototype : The General Electric ES44AC heavy diesel-electric freight locomotive is in service with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe, LLC (BNSF). It is painted in a distinctive orange basic paint scheme and has the road number 6259. The model locomotive represents the current operating condition of the locomotive as it can be seen on the BNSF routes and is ideal for modern freight train operations on the model railroad layout.

The GE ES44AC diesel locomotive in H0 scale impresses with its state-of-the-art technology and detailed equipment. Equipped with a digital decoder, it offers extensive sound and light functions. The controlled high-performance drive with centrally installed flywheel drives two axles in each bogie via cardan shafts. The locomotive has traction tires and headlights that are independent of the direction of travel with four lamps at the front and two lamps at the rear that can be turned off digitally. Other digital functions include cab lighting, high beams and a flashing function for the headlights. The smoke generator ensures dynamic smoke emission and can also be controlled digitally. With numerous applied details and maintenance-free LED lighting, this locomotive is a highlight for any model railroad layout. Length over coupler: approx. 27 cm.
