Description

Prototype: German Railroad (DB AG) class 218 diesel locomotive. Traffic red basic paint scheme. Road number 218 499-2. Operating condition as of 2011.Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a centrally mounted flywheel. All four axles powered. Traction tires. Triple headlights that change over with the direction of travel and 2 red marker lights in conventional operation, can be controlled digitally. The headlights at locomotive ends 2 and 1 can each be turned off separately in digital operation. The cab lighting changes over with the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. Attached metal grab irons on the sides and ends. Detailed buffer beam with the snow plow typical of the class. Brake lines, screw couplers, and closed snow plows are included as separately applied parts. Length over buffers 18.9 cm.Highlights Newly created sound project for the class 218.
