With the Trix 25544 diesel locomotive, Trix is bringing a powerful model based on an American prototype to the model railroad layout: The GE ES44AC of the Norfolk Southern Railroad is part of the so-called Heritage series and represents modern railroad operation in the USA. The model is in H0 scale and represents Era VI.

Model technology and digital functions

The locomotive is designed for 2-wire DC operation and has a modern digital decoder. It supports the mfx protocol and also offers realistic sound functions. This guarantees varied and authentic use in digital model railroad operation.

Prototypical and powerful

The original, the GE ES44AC, is part of the Evolution Series from General Electric and has been in use in the USA since the mid-2000s. It is used in particular in heavy freight train service. The Trix model will win you over with its high tractive effort and faithful reproduction in the design of the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
