The Trix 25652 H0 electric locomotive 151 035-3 is a precise reproduction of the well-known class 151 of the Deutsche Bahn AG (DBAG). With its basic traffic red paint scheme and modernized technical features, this model represents the operating condition as of 2008. The locomotive has extensive digital functions, high-quality workmanship, and historical authenticity.
The class 151 was originally developed in the 1970s for heavy freight traffic and is still in use today. The 151 035-3 locomotive was operated by DBAG from 2008 in traffic red livery and is one of the most powerful freight locomotives of its time. Its reliability and tractive power made it an indispensable part of freight traffic in Era VI.
The model of the 151 035-3 impresses with its precise reproduction of all the important details. The basic traffic red paint scheme, the detailed roof superstructures with newly designed single-arm pantographs and numerous separately applied parts such as grab rails, sand boxes and UIC sockets give the model an authentic look. The locomotive is equipped with a digital decoder that offers a variety of light and sound functions. The three-light headlights that change depending on the direction of travel and the red marker lights can be switched digitally. The model also has a double A light function and a digitally switchable starting light. Driver's cab lighting, engine room lighting and pantographs that can be raised and lowered digitally complete the technical package. The lighting is provided by maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs, which guarantee a prototypical representation.
The controlled high-performance drive with centrally installed flywheel drives two axles in each bogie via cardan shafts. Traction tires ensure high tractive power, while a buffer storage unit ensures uninterrupted operation. The locomotive is designed for a minimum radius of 360 mm and can therefore be used flexibly.
The 151 035-3 is predestined for use in heavy goods traffic in Era VI. It can pull long freight trains on your model railroad layout and impressively demonstrate its strength. Thanks to its flexible design and compact length, it is also suitable for operation on medium-sized and large layouts.
