The Intellisound 6 Plux22 decoder from Uhlenbrock impresses with its compact design, high-quality sound and its many technical features. In order to guarantee a high-quality sound, the individual sounds are mixed together from different sound channels. The intelligent sound control can select the appropriate sounds depending on the driving situation and thus reproduce very realistic scenarios. IntelliSound can independently distinguish between situations such as standstill, acceleration, normal driving, idling, braking, uphill and downhill driving.
Some examples of this function are, for example, that the hissing of the boiler, the air pump, the injector and the coal shoveling are reproduced when a steam locomotive is stationary. For diesel locomotives, on the other hand, the starting and stopping of the engine can be played automatically. In addition to the dynamic driving noise, up to 40 other sounds can be used per module. Depending on the vehicle type, these can be a whistle, a bell, a signal horn or the engine fan on an electric locomotive. The volume of the individual sounds can be set independently of each other.
