Description

Luisa is a LocoNet repeater with galvanic isolation via optocouplers. Luisa generates a new LocoNet branch and refreshes the signals. By splitting the branches, signal problems are eliminated and you can reliably operate additional LocoNet devices. In the event of a short circuit in the second LocoNet branch, the LocoNet in the primary branch remains fully functional. The integrated RS amplifier provides the necessary signals for operating boosters on the new LocoNet B branch.Luisa enables the connection of all Uhlenbrock LocoNet devices such as feedback units and LocoNet boosters to all LocoNet-compatible command stations with a non-grounded output stage, e.g:

For the second LocoNet branch, Luisa provides a 12 V 500 mA power supply for the "fresh" LocoNet connections. A plug-in power supply unit is included with Luisa. All relevant operating statuses are displayed via several multi-colored LEDs:

• LocoNet in and LocoNet out
• LocoNet power supply overload indicator
