The Viessmann 8040 H0 CarMotion MB Actros 3-axle skip loader brings movement and realism to your H0 model railway layout. This ultra-modern vehicle model combines a detailed replica of the Mercedes-Benz Actros with innovative CarMotion technology. With a battery life of up to 6 hours, realistic driving and braking and comprehensive lighting functions, this skip loader is the perfect addition for anyone who wants to make their model railroad interactive.
The model is based on the real MB Actros 2640, a powerful and robust truck with 6x4 drive. The V6 engine of the original delivers 290 kW (394 hp) with a maximum torque of 1080 rpm. The installed MEILLER AK 14060 skip loader has a load capacity of approx. 13 tons and is designed for heavy-duty use on construction sites. These technical data have been implemented in the model with great attention to detail in order to provide a realistic representation.
The Viessmann 8040 MB Actros is equipped with the latest CarMotion technology, which offers numerous innovative functions. These include short charging times thanks to modern Li-Po batteries, realistic acceleration and braking processes and simple switching on and off using a reed contact under the roof of the driver's cab. The truck is controlled via infrared signals, permanent magnets, electromagnetic stop coils or the CarMotion remote control (Art. 8402), allowing it to be used flexibly in various scenarios.
The model has extensive lighting functions, including dipped and main beam headlights, controllable indicators, hazard warning lights, brake lights, reversing lights and roof lighting in orange, which is specially designed for use on construction sites. The visible driver's cab with a figure lends the vehicle additional authenticity. The underfloor drive provides an open loading area, making the model even more versatile.
Thanks to the comprehensive control options, the MB Actros can be seamlessly integrated into existing CarMotion systems. Even short, straight reversing maneuvers are possible without lane aids, giving the model additional flexibility. Control via infrared signals ensures precise movement control and avoids collisions thanks to integrated distance control.
