The Viessmann 8055 H0 CarMotion fire engine MAGIRUS FlKfz 3800/400 is a faithfully reproduced model based on the legendary MAGIRUS Deutz Jupiter. The model is based on the MAGIRUS-Deutz KHD Jupiter, a robust, all-terrain fire engine with impressive performance data. Equipped with an FBL 914 V8 diesel engine, the Jupiter delivers 169 kW (230 hp) and can handle a gross vehicle weight of up to 26 tons off-road. The installed BACHERT FPH 16/85 centrifugal fire pump has a flow rate of 2400 liters per minute and is ideally suited for fighting fires. With 3800 liters of water and 400 liters of foam compound, the vehicle is designed for large fires. These details have been implemented in the model with the utmost precision.
Like all models in the CarMotion series, the MAGIRUS FlKfz 3800/400 is also equipped with innovative technology. Short charging times thanks to modern Li-Po batteries ensure maximum convenience. One battery charge enables a running time of approx. 4-6 hours in normal operation or 2 hours at top speed. The speed-controlled motor enables smooth acceleration and braking as well as a configurable speed. The underfloor drive ensures a clear loading area, which enhances the vehicle both visually and functionally.
The vehicle can be controlled via infrared signals, permanent magnets (Art. 8431), electromagnetic stop coils or the CarMotion remote control (Art. 8402). Short, straight-line reversing is possible even without lane aids. The integrated infrared distance control guarantees safe operation and avoids collisions, even with several vehicles on the track.
The model has a variety of lighting options that increase realism: Low beam, high beam, controllable indicators, hazard warning lights, brake lights, reversing lights and orange rotating beacons on the roof. Cab lighting also ensures an atmospheric driving experience, while the visible driver's cab with figure lends the vehicle authenticity.
For even more realism, the model can be equipped with the retrofit sound set Art. 8452, which reproduces the typical operational sounds of a fire engine. This extension turns the model into an interactive highlight on your layout.
