The Viessmann 8135 H0 CarMotion MAGIRUS Deutz 2-axle corner bonnet with excavator superstructure is a detailed model that combines the historic MAGIRUS Deutz corner bonnet with a FUCHS F301 H excavator superstructure. This functional model impresses with innovative CarMotion technology, extensive functions and an authentic design that shines on construction sites and in work scenarios on your H0 model railway layout.
The model is based on the MAGIRUS Deutz 230 D 16, a reliable 2-axle truck with a 169 kW (230 hp) air-cooled V8 diesel direct injection engine. This vehicle was equipped with the FUCHS F301 H hydraulic excavator body, which was further developed by the Schaeff company in Langenburg in the 1960s. The excavator offers a 700 mm wide bucket and a 570 mm wide grab and was appreciated for its versatility and performance. These features have been faithfully reproduced in the model.
The MAGIRUS Deutz corner hood is equipped with the latest CarMotion technology. A speed-controlled motor ensures realistic acceleration and braking, while the speed can be individually adjusted. The Li-Po batteries offer a running time of 4-6 hours in normal operation and are recharged in a short time. Flexible control is provided by infrared signals, permanent magnets (Art. 8431), electromagnetic stop coils or the CarMotion remote control (Art. 8402).
The model has a variety of lighting functions, including low beam, high beam, controllable indicators, hazard warning lights, brake lights and reversing lights. Cab lighting and a visible driver's cab with figure provide additional authenticity. Control via the infrared distance control enables safe operation, and short, straight reversing maneuvers are possible even without lane aids.
For an even more realistic experience, the model can be upgraded with the retrofit sound set Art. 8450. This module simulates the characteristic sounds of the MAGIRUS Deutz engine and turns the model into an interactive highlight on your layout.
With a size of L 8.1 x W 3.3 x H 3.6 - 6.4 cm, the vehicle blends harmoniously into any H0 model landscape. Thanks to the 5-pin plug-in coupling, CarMotion trailers or semi-trailers can be connected. The model is also compatible with contact wire and magnetic strip systems and can be easily integrated into existing layouts.
