YaMoRC YD6016LN-RC 16-channel feedback module with RailCom

The YaMoRC YD6016LN-RC is a modern feedback module with 16 channels that offers both current measurement ("Current Sense") and RailCom support. It is ideal for passively reading track sections and locomotive addresses and recording occupancy messages, especially in digital systems that use RailCom. For users who value extended feedback and transparent statuses, this module offers significant advantages.

Main features & functions

Each of the 16 inputs functions as a local RailCom detector. In addition, there is a global detector at the track output, which can also be used to detect non-RailCom-capable locomotives or carriages. The input sensitivity is around 3 mA for current signaling. ES-IN-Link connections are available for configuration and expansion. The module is supported via USB with two virtual COM ports (for YaMoRC.Command and LocoNet protocols), which allows flexible integration into existing control centers and driving controls.

Possible applications & advantages

The module is particularly suitable for layouts where you not only want to know whether a track section is occupied, but also which locomotive is there - thanks to RailCom address reading. It also brings improvements in staging yards, long track sections or with mixed locomotive equipment: Locomotive detection even without direct contact, better feedback, more safety in operation.
