YaMoRC YD6016RB-CS 16-channel feedback module with RBus / XBus interface

The YaMoRC YD6016RB-CS is a modern feedback module with 16 channels, which offers current signaling inputs and is connected via RBus or XBus. It is a "current sense" module that detects occupancy signals as soon as current flows through consumers - ideal for track occupancy signals, feedback from consumer circuits or other current consumers in digital systems.

Technical data & range of functions

The module is divided into two independent blocks of 8 inputs each, each block with its own earth connection. Each input detects current from approx. 1 mA, with a continuous load of 2 A per input and a maximum of 8 A combined across all inputs. Short-term overloads (e.g. short current peaks) of up to 5 A for approx. 100 ms are possible. To improve interference immunity, each input is equipped with a capacitive input signal filter that suppresses interference from long connection cables.

Interfaces, configuration & expandability

The YD6016RB-CS has RBus and XBus interfaces for communication with compatible YaMoRC hardware. For configuration and updates, there is a USB connection with a virtual COM port via which the firmware can be updated. The module can be configured via a configuration module (e.g. YD9101) or via a web interface. Up to four additional YD6016ES modules can be connected directly via ES-IN-Link, allowing up to 80 feedback inputs to be realized in a network.

Use & advantages

This module is particularly suitable when precise feedback on current load is required, for example for detecting occupied/ free in the track, or for detecting whether consumers such as track heaters, light strips or signals are drawing current. The combination of high sensitivity, stable interface and flexible expandability makes it ideal for medium to large digital systems with many signaling areas.
