With the MS580N18, Zimo makes it possible to digitize analogue locomotives in TT and larger gauges that have a Next18 interface or to replace the decoder of already digitized locomotives. One advantage of the Zimo sound decoder is the different protocols with which it can be controlled. These include mfx, DCC, MM and RailCom, making the decoder compatible with almost all digital command stations.
