The Zimo MX645P22 sound de coder is a powerful and compact decoder that has been specially developed for model railroads. Equipped with the latest technology and numerous functions, it offers an excellent solution for demanding model railroaders who want to equip their locomotives with realistic sounds and precise control. Thanks to the PluX22 interface in accordance with NEM658, the decoder is easy to integrate and compatible with a wide range of models.
The Zimo MX645P22 impresses with a wide range of functions and outstanding technical specifications. With a continuous current of 1.2 A and a peak current capacity of 2.5 A (approx. 20 ms), it can easily control most model railway motors. The dimensions of 30 x 15 x 4 mm make it compact enough for a wide range of locomotive models without compromising on performance.
The sound decoder offers a total of 10 function outputs, one of which is accessible via solder pads, as well as two logic level outputs. It also supports servo outputs and is equipped with SUSI, RailCom and an energy storage connection. The innovative ZIMO function mapping allows flexible and easy assignment of functions, so that model railroaders can make individual adjustments. The audio output is 3 watts and speakers with 4 to 8 ohms impedance can be connected without any problems.
The MX645P22 offers first-class sound quality. With a sound memory of 32 Mbit, extensive and realistic sound projects can be loaded. From locomotive whistles to typical engine noises, all acoustic details of a locomotive can be authentically reproduced. The option of loading individual sounds considerably extends the flexibility of the decoder.
This decoder is suitable for all g auges, from small N-gauge models to large 1-gauge locomotives. It can be used universally and is suitable for both DC and AC operation. By supporting common protocols such as DCC, Motorola (MM), NMRA and RailCom, the decoder ensures simple integration into existing model railway systems.
The Zimo MX645P22 has a PluX22 interface, which is arranged on a circuit board in accordance with the NEM658 standard. This makes installation considerably easier and enables a direct connection with modern locomotive models. In addition, a connection for an energy storage unit is integrated, which ensures smooth operation even in the event of power interruptions.
