The particularly compact design of the STACO1 allows flexible installation even in the smallest models. Thanks to the external wiring of the gold caps, the placement in the model can be individual and space-saving - a clear advantage over permanently installed power packs. The high-quality workmanship ensures reliable and long-lasting function.

Technical features & functions

Efficient voltage conversion

The controller transforms the voltage of the gold caps - depending on the number at 5.2 V or 8.1 V - to a constant 10 V. This means that sound and drive systems remain stable in operation even if contact is lost.

Flexible connection options

The connection is made via wires to the pads or pins "decoder plus / common plus" and "decoder ground". Operation is possible with 2 or 3 gold caps.

Compatibility & application

Suitable for decoders without their own energy storage connections or with limited options. Compatible with digital locomotive decoders from all common manufacturers, provided they are operated within the voltage limits.
