The Deutz F1M 414, also known as the "Elfer", was built between 1936 and 1951 and was a real milestone in the mechanization of small-scale farming. With its water-cooled single-cylinder diesel engine, 11 hp output and a robust three-speed gearbox, it also enabled small farms to enter the world of modern agriculture.
