37300 Lighthouse 'Westerheversand' with service apartment building

On the North Sea coast stands the original on the Westerheversand. The cast-iron tower rises with its concrete base up to 40 meters as a slender structure on a terrain elevation. By day it can be seen from afar with its red and white paint. The original feature of the structure lies in the two symmetrically assigned service buildings of former lighthouse keepers. The so-called lantern in the superstructure of the tower forms a modern technical light source today. The typical identification generation, as the expert says, is achieved by the light interruption. The white-red sectors are also characteristic. With this impressive model, kibri sticks to its principle of offering buildings with a lifelike appearance. The double gallery with the external access to the lantern room at the top of the tower, for example, is accurately detailed right down to the individual forms. In accordance with the prototype, the portholes are also executed as typical features in the new floors. The Westerheversand Lighthouse is a welcome kit, not only for model railroaders, but also for friends of diorama building, for collectors and lovers of specially selected model pieces.
