Description

Liliput L162590 N Diesellok 332 122-1, DB, Ep. IV Product Details

Liliput L162590 N Diesel locomotive 332 122-1, DB, Ep. IV - A typical classic of the time in an ocean blue and ivory look

With the Liliput L162590, Liliput brings an authentic model of the popular small diesel locomotives of the German Federal Railroad in N scale. The class 332 is presented here in the charming ocean blue / ivory color scheme that was typical for many DB vehicles in the 1980s. Realized on a scale of 1:160, this model is ideal for analogue and digital layouts with a focus on branch lines, industrial operations or shunting traffic in Era IV.

From O&K to the Bundesbahn - a real workhorse

The original version of the locomotive - Köf 11 122 - was manufactured in 1964 by Orenstein & Koppel (O&K) under the factory number 26359 and handed over to the German Federal Railroad on 08.09.1964. With the redesignation on 01.01.1968 it received the number 332 122-1. Originally painted purple red, it was repainted in 1983 in the new color scheme ocean blue / ivory in the AW Bremen. The model shows the condition of 1984 - i.e. during its active service in its new color scheme. It was taken out of service in 1995 at the Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg depot and scrapped in 1998.

Typical color scheme of the 80s

The locomotive impresses with its exact reproduction of the ocean blue-ivory paint scheme, razor-sharp lettering and precise engravings. Despite its compact dimensions of just 49 mm in length, the model offers a high level of detail - ideal for anyone who wants to authentically recreate the typical look of the 1980s.

Analog or digital - the choice is yours

Equipped with a digital interface, the model can be easily digitized if required. The locomotive is equally suitable for classic analog layouts and digitally controlled layouts. Thanks to its compact design, it is perfect for tight track radii and confined shunting scenes.
