This starter set offers an excellent introduction to the digital model railroad world of Märklin. The Mobile Station can be used to easily control all of the vehicles with DCC, mfx, or Motorola decoders. In addition to the control system and the oval track, the set includes a DB freight train consisting of a class 89.0 steam locomotive and 3 different freight cars. An open coal wagon has been selected to match the steam locomotive and is loaded with coal. The other two cars are a stake car and a tank car.
