With the Piko 40512 BR 221 diesel locomotive, PIKO brings one of the most legendary machines of the German Federal Railroad to the N scale layout - now in the typical Era IV livery in blue-beige. The locomotive, also known under its original designation V200.1, was a symbol of powerful diesel traction on main and branch lines in the 1970s and 1980s.
Prototypical design with modern technology
The elegant design, combined with the striking blue and beige color scheme, has been precisely implemented in the model.
