Piko 40525 diesel locomotive V160, DB, Ep. III (incl. sound)

This model is the class 216 in the version of a DB class V 160 in Era III. The class V 160 or 216 was the express locomotive for lines without overhead wires on the German Federal Railroad in the 1960s and 1970s. The development team has implemented the striking styling of the prototype in outstanding quality in the model, while at the same time achieving ideal running characteristics. These attributes are underscored by the effective use of perfect engravings and a paint scheme that is coherent down to the smallest detail. Contemporary LED technology serves as the basis for the light change in red and white. Last but not least, the BR 216 model also features a matching Next18 sound decoder ex works.
