Piko 59436 diesel locomotive V 60, DR, Ep. III

The model of the PIKO V 60 convinces with a robust and functionally reliable constructed basic structure. The heavy, die-cast zinc frame, together with the flywheel motor, provides precisely controllable running characteristics. All four axles are powered. Power is drawn from all eight wheels, two of which have been fitted with traction tires. The first and third axles have coil springs for pressing the wheels against the track. The finely detailed running gear features filigree wheel sets, precisely designed jackshaft counterweights, and metal driving and coupling rods. As standard features of the PIKO-Expert line, the model has close coupling kinematics, a digital interface and white / red lighting that changes with the direction of travel. Prepared for retrofitting with decoder and sound. Print variant of the BR V 60 of the German State Railroad from Era III.
