Prototype: Vossloh G 2000 BB heavy diesel locomotive with a symmetrical cab, as Am 840 on the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), used for the SBB Cargo freight division. Fire red/ultramarine blue basic paint scheme with basalt gray frame. Locomotive road number Am 840 002-0. Era VI operating condition.
About the model: Digital decoder with extensive sound and light functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a centrally installed flywheel. All 4 axles powered by cardan shafts. Traction tires. The triple headlights and 2 red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at locomotive ends 2 and 1 can each be turned off separately in digital operation. If the headlights on both sides of the locomotive are turned off, the double A headlights will work on both sides. The cab lighting for each cab can be switched on and off separately in digital operation. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. Many separately applied details. Metal railings on the long sides of the frame. Detailed buffer beam. Attachable brake hoses are included. Enclosed front covers can also be mounted on the buffer beam. Length over buffers 20 cm.
