Description

Albert Modell AM245052 H0 Schiebewandwagen Hbbillns, SBB, Ep. VI, Graffiti Edition Product Details

Albert Modell AM245052 H0 Hbbillns sliding wall wagon, SBB - Graffiti Edition with a social statement

With the SBB Hbbillns sliding wall wagon in the Graffiti Edition, Albert Modell is bringing a particularly eye-catching piece of modern railroad culture to the model railway layout. In a limited edition for the Lemke Collection, these wagons appear with large-scale motifs taken from the street art scene. These artistic, socially critical works address topics such as capitalism, refugee crises and "First World Problems". The series entitled "Future is Luxury" turns each model into an expressive statement - realistic and polarizing at the same time.

Technical details of the model

The model is designed for the direct current system (DC) and is produced in H0 scale. It belongs to Era VI and is equipped with an NEM 362 coupling shaft, but without close coupling kinematics. The car is suitable for a minimum radius of 358 mm and can therefore be used on most H0 layouts without any problems.

Graffiti meets reality - art on the wagon

The graffiti motifs in this series are based on real-life works of art that can be found on SBB sliding wall wagons. Interestingly, the artists deliberately leave the lettering fields blank - in the hope that the railroad will not remove the work. This creates a fascinating symbiosis of art and functionality, which has also been faithfully reproduced in the model.

The Hbbillns - a classic in Era VI freight traffic

The Hbbillns sliding wall wagon is a typical representative of closed freight traffic in Europe. The wagons are particularly suitable for transporting sensitive goods and were widely used in Era VI by railroad companies such as the SBB. This model reproduces the wagon in a special, socially critical design and is an eye-catcher in any model railway scene.

Limited collector's edition

The Albert Model Graffiti Edition has been produced exclusively and in a strictly limited edition for the Lemke Collection. Each of the four sliding wall wagons is designed differently from both sides and absolutely true to the original - a special feature that makes this model a real collector's item.
