Artitec 5870174 H0 Old Guys on a Bench

The Artitec 5870174 H0 figure set “Old Guys on the Bench” depicts a tranquil yet humorous everyday scene. The five figures depict elderly gentlemen relaxing together on a park bench and are ideal for decorating parks, village squares, promenades, or residential areas. The scene conveys a sense of serenity and the depth of everyday life, adding a human, narrative touch to the layout.

Artitec figures are known for their exceptionally high-quality craftsmanship. This set, too, is hand-painted in realistic colors. Painting a set of figures often requires more than ten different colors to render clothing, facial features, and details with nuance. This creates a lively and believable overall impression that clearly reveals the characters’ personalities.

Material Selection and Attention to Detail

The figures consist of 3D-printed parts and are complemented by photo-etched parts. This combination of materials allows for very fine detailing of body postures, facial expressions, and age-specific details. Especially at the H0 scale, this level of detail is crucial for rendering the depicted scene realistically and convincingly.

The meticulous craftsmanship gives each figure its own unique character. Slight variations in paintwork and design are typical characteristics of high-quality model figures and underscore the commitment to authenticity and attention to detail. As a result, each figure appears to be a one-of-a-kind piece.

Fine Details for Lively Everyday Scenes

Many Artitec figure sets are combined with fine etched parts that allow for additional details. Even in the “Old Guys on the Bench” set, these delicate embellishments help bring the scene to life. The figures’ postures and gestures clearly convey conversations, observations, and shared moments of relaxation.

The set is ideal for bringing green spaces, village centers, or quiet street scenes to life. The five figures can be placed together to form a harmonious focal point that lends the layout a sense of tranquility, charm, and the depth of everyday life.

For use in H0 scale

The figures are scaled for H0 gauge and can be easily combined with buildings, vehicles, and other figures of this size. They fit particularly well into everyday or rural layout concepts but can also be flexibly used in urban scenes.

As a finely crafted figure set, “Old Timers on the Bench” adds a peaceful, human everyday scene to your collection of figures and helps make your model railroad layout realistic, varied, and atmospheric.
