Auhagen 75114 Forest Floor Mat 50 x 35 cm
Would you like to design your model landscape with a particularly realistic forest floor? With the forest floor mat from Auhagen, you can create natural surfaces in no time at all that adapt perfectly to the shape of your terrain.
A realistic forest floor is crucial for the impact of forest and landscape scenes. Different textures and shades ensure that the surface appears lively and lifelike. With this mat, achieving such effects is especially easy.
Flexibly adapts to any terrain
The forest floor mat is made of synthetic short fibers in lightfast colors. Coating the material with water-soluble glue softens it, allowing it to adapt perfectly to the terrain.
This makes the mat ideal for uneven surfaces, hills, or slopes, ensuring a uniform and natural surface.
Realistic application for natural effects
For a particularly authentic result, it is recommended to tear the material rather than cut it. This creates irregular edges that look much more realistic and blend better into the landscape.
This technique allows transitions between different areas to be made nearly invisible, creating a seamless, natural surface.
Features:
- synthetic short fibers in lightfast colors
- coat with water-soluble glue (the material becomes soft and easily conforms to the terrain)
- Do not cut; if you “tear” it, it looks more realistic
- Dimensions: 50 x 35 cm
Specs:
- Gauge: All
- Type: Grass mat
