Bemo 1256131 H0m Stangenlok Ge 2/4 221, RhB Product Details
The Bemo 1256131 H0m RhB Ge 2/4 221 pole locomotive is an H0m scale model that is classified in eras II to VI.
The replacement of the total of 57 steam locomotives was initiated in 1912/1913 by the Ge 4/6 powered by blind shafts and inclined rods. In addition, seven single-engine Ge 2/4 201-207 with around 300 HP were procured for light service in 1913. With the commissioning of the "crocodiles" Ge 6/6 I 401-415, the Ge 2/4s were increasingly used in shunting service, which proved to be disadvantageous due to the limited visibility to the rear.
In 1943/1946, some locomotives were converted into shunting locomotives with a central driver's cab. These locomotive models, such as the Ge 2/4 221, took over tasks in light mainline service as well as preloading services and received a powerful electric resistance brake.
