Bemo 1362555 H0m Zahnradlok HGe 4/4 II 5 "30 Jahre", MGB, DC-sound

The Bemo 1362555 H0m HGe 4/4 II 5 "30 Years" cogwheel locomotive from the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (MGB) is a special edition with DC sound that commemorates the "30 Years of Mt. Fuji - Matterhorn Sister Railways" anniversary. This rack locomotive belongs to Era V-VI and is equipped with a 5-pole motor suitable for rack-and-pinion operation.

In 2019, MGB launched a refit program for 9 of the 15 existing HGe 4/4 II cogwheel locomotives (built 1986-1990). All locomotives 101-108 ex FO and locomotive 1 ex BVZ were refurbished for future use by 2023. Locomotive 2 was demolished and locomotives 3-5 are being operated without overhaul. Locomotive 5 "Mount Fuji" received an additional sticker "30 years Mt. Fuji-Matterhorn Sister Railways". Locomotive 3 was placarded with different employee motifs on both sides.
